Best you can buy for specific uses.

Pros: Bulletproof, excellent optical quality.
Cons: Compass could be easier to use.
The Bottom Line: There are cheaper and more expensive units, but this is by far the best value for the money. There's a reason it's been "the standard" for so long.

Great optics, not so great compass

Pros: Very well constructed, Very Sturdy, Distinctive shape. Excellent quality
Cons: Heavy, Badly designed compass, price
The Bottom Line: If given a choice between the Marine/Military with or without compass I';d definitely take the one without, even if cost were no object.
