Civ IV Warlords: More Of The Same, But At Least The Price Is Right

Pros: New rules, units, Wonders, Civilizations, scenarios

Cons: Not enough of the above and the combat system is a joke

The Bottom Line: Civ IV: Warlords is reluctant buy, largely because the $20 isn't very painful. There is nothing revolutionary here, but just enough to keep the fans happy.

Civ IV; Massive Entertainment Even If It's Not A Gaming Breakthrough

Pros: Fascinating and massively entertaining look at history

Cons: The military system really needs improvement

The Bottom Line: Civ IV is a worthy development in the series and worth the bucks to all but the most picky gamer. There's enough here to break up a marriage.

"Build an Empire to stand the test of Time...."

Pros: Improved graphics and sound, more victory options, automates some boring stuff

Cons: Memory-hoggish, problems with patches

The Bottom Line: For 16 years, Sid Meier's Civilization has been a popular franchise. Now, Sid is back, and Civ IV is the best version yet!
