Not bad for $50...

Pros: Great picture and sound; dirt cheap

Cons: Tiny remove; HDMI cable not included; weird delays when ejecting or loading

The Bottom Line: A great deal for the money. Standard definition DVDs look great, but don't expect them to magically become high definition discs.

Review: For what this thing does, it's pretty good. It's important to point that out upfront because some people might be mislead by the term "upscaling."

Small but slow

Pros: Upconverts small

Cons: slow to turn on and to open. Remote is cheap and system controle is weak

Review: I bought this about 3 weeks ago and though it is functional it is not impressive. For a cheap dvd player it does the job but it leaves much to be desired.

Review: We have had this RCA DVD player over a year, and it is still working. It actually a very good DVD player for the price. The only negative is that it is very slow to respond to the remote control's commands.
