Pros: good picture quality, easy to use, several pre-adjusted scene modes, small size.
Cons: Limited options to manually tune exposure, small buttons for big fingers.
The Bottom Line: Good choice for an easy to use and SMALL point and shoot. You must learn and use the appropriate 'scene' mode to get the best results for your pictures.

Pros: Highly portable, good quality, takes good photos, has interesting and effective advanced modes..
Cons: None. It is about as good as it can be for its size category.
The Bottom Line: I recommend the S3 as a solid quality camera that you will keep with you and will therefore will likely be the one that takes those special shots of opportunity.

Pros: Camera start up/power up, compact size, great images, quick recharge
Cons: no optical viewfinder, shot-shot time, battery out to charge
