The Fellowes DS-1 with patented Safe Sense technology stops shredder immediately when paper entry is touched. This affordable, light duty shredder reduces documents to 5/32" x 1-3/8” confetti particles for extra security, and shreds up to 11 sheets per pass, 10-20 times per day, for a total daily capacity as high as 220 sheets. Pros: Safe sense sensor, works, attractive.

Cons: motor is a little noisy.

The Bottom Line: A good paper shredder for a good price, but the motor is a little noisy.

Cons: A slightly short cord.
