Try to find the bags for this thing...

Pros: Cheap to buy, lightweight, just enough attachments to get the job done.

Cons: Don't get this one, buy the bagless model instead. Save yourselves the expense of bags.

Review: Cheap and effective vacuum. But I have been unable to find the bags for sale anywhere except online. I ordered bags online and then they were never delivered. What a waste of a vacuum, I really wish I had bought the bagless model...

Bearing life

Pros: Large cleaning path good vibration of cleaning surface

Cons: Short motor bearing life poor porting of air results in dust filling housing

The Bottom Line: Economical vacuum for occasional use. It is advertised for commercial use, but has a short life when used daily.

Review: Model SC899 vacuum has a poor reliability record with respect to the life of the lower motor bearing. That bearing gets excessive dust from poor venting of the exhaust air. The top bearing isn't much better but does last longer as it does not carry...
