DirecTV? Good, but not great...

Pros: simple, compatible with most systems, decent remote features
Cons: menus not intuitive, phone line required for PPV
The Bottom Line: Spend the extra for digital video recording. Still, it's a good basic system.

SLUGGISH!

Pros: It's in HD and has significant storge.
Cons: It's slow, glitchy and not very easy to use.
The Bottom Line: If you can wait until Tivo makes an eqivalent unit for DirecTV, then I recommend you do that. Basically this unit is sluggish and not particularly intuitive.
