Quiet, Cool, Efficient 1TB Drive

Pros: Very quiet (esp idle), cool, low power, pretty cheap.
Cons: WD's (unnecessarily) deceptive propoganda regarding RPM of maybe should get it docked a star.
The Bottom Line: Quietest 1TB drive on the current market. Cool running, low power, benefits of 5400rpm with the performance similar to most 1TB 7200rpm drives, and faster than older 7200rpm drives.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Raw performance and paper racing isn't everything when it comes to hard drives. For many, quietness and/or low heat are equally if not more important.

Excellent Drive

Pros: Good price, High capacity, Quiet, Included software excellent if needed.
Cons: Seems slower than competition, Warranty needs to be longer, Smaller buffer
The Bottom Line: I recommend this drive for anyone who wants higher capacity but on a budget. This drive will not break any performance marks, but will work great for everyday use.
