Impala SS - Can't afford a speed boat?

Pros: Strong acceleration, Collectors car, and a sure classic. Plush interior. Good price.

Cons: Hard to find, Poor gas mileage, 4,300lbs.

The Bottom Line: With acceleration that puts some sports cars to shame, the huge Impala SS also boasts plenty of room, and is comfortable to drive.

Modern day value

Pros: Seems well put together, adequate power, roomy interior

Cons: Gets no respect on the road, options cause the price to go up a lot

The Bottom Line: Great starter car for new drivers. Also a great value for those on a limited income. Recommended for these kinds of buyers.

Pros: Cheap, good on gas

Cons: Shoddy build, suspect reliability

The Bottom Line: Avoid the vehicle. Spot checking on the web reveals many disparate problems with the car and dealership and it's not worth the risk.
