While there are a lot of good bread machines, one feature of this model made it stand out to me: It bakes one, one-and-a-half and two pound loaves equally well. I prefer to make small loaves more often so that its always fresh. Its practical to do so with this machine because its simple to use and easy to clean. Also, sometimes when my husband gets especially creative, one pound is plenty. I cannot recommend, for instance, augmenting a bread mix with canned tuna, and grapes are not simply "fresher than raisins". For satisfying, fresh bread just toss a package of mix into The Breadman TR888. It knows how to make good bread every time so you dont have to. Less

Pros: Makes breads, butter, cakes and puddings. So many things!!
Cons: Nope, nothing wrong with this machine !!
The Bottom Line: I love my breadman machine. It does so much more then your usual breadmaker. I love the butter feature and its my favorite thing about the breadman.

Pros: No mess healthy bread is the same every time.
Cons: Some recipes take 4 hours to bake. Bread dries out faster than store bread.
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this product for nutritional value and to anyone who prefers the taste of homemade bread over store-bought bread. You need not be a cook!

Pros: Special cycles for many different types of bread. Produces an excellent loaf. All digital.
Cons: Kneading Paddle gap irks me. Tough to get bread pan in/out of unit.
The Bottom Line: Great 2 lb bread machine. Not without a few quirks but produces an excellent loaf of bread.
