this base unit works only for a week.

I bought the TRU9488 with 3 hand sets. i could not receive calls after 1 week. the caller can hear the rings going but the phone is not ringing. then i disconected the power and tried calling with my mobile as it is suposed to receive calls during power faliurs as well. i can hear the rings go when the power id down, but the moment i turn on the power it stops ringing. so i bought anothe TRU9488 on ebay and connected my previous hand sets. same scenario. works for a week and no incoming calls. please dond buy this phone and wast your money. my advice to you is do not buy this unit.
