Not a bad camera

This is actually my first digital camera (my old one was a simple VHS one that served me very well). Bought mostly because of a very limited selection of the digital cameras in Canada :)

The camera is very convinient to use (I like the joystick control, it is must better than other cameras with multiple buttons). Basically, most of the controls on this camera are reacheable with the thumb.

Picture quality is good, sound quality too. Image stabilization does seem to work. Battery life seems to be ok, I expected it to be much shorter.

I do not like the fact that the strap is attached to the CD compartment cover, although it seems to be quite solid.
