Product Review

Love it.

Pros:  Simply the best computer so far.

Cons:  When I think of something I'll let you know.

The Bottom Line:  If you have the opportunity to do so, buy this computer. It will not disappoint.

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

I just got this one to replace the four-year-old G4 PowerBook I had (::sniffle::), and it's like holding on to a lightning bolt! The display is amazing - very clear and bright - I actually caught myself thinking the other day, "I don't remember that picture looking like THAT..." It was because of the insane resolution.
It has a built in iSight camera and plenty of software options to use it (I love PhotoBooth, where you can take silly pictures of yourself - or your cat - with just a click), fast wireless capability, bluetooth, plenty of storage, and all sorts of fun stuff I doubt I've discovered yet.
I like that this model is compact and light, but it still doesn't feel like you're squinting at some little cell-phone-sized screen.
It has pretty much everything I need without all the stupid junk I never actually wanted.
The OS is new and improved, and I can't say enough great stuff about the entire OSX line - 100% above and beyond what Windows could ever imagine.
Finally, a word about sales and service:
The Mac store is wonderful, because even when they're breaking tough news to you about how your four-year-old baby (computer) is going to have to find its final resting place, you're still jazzed because you get some new fancy fun toy to spend the next four with. And spending the $1200 (with the ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL AppleCare) doesn't feel so bad when it feels like the guy you're giving it to is on your team.
