I waited forever to buy a GPS unit. I thought my employer provided Blackberry 8800 will do for directions but that fell short, so the buy. I like it.
I picked it up at Walmart for $128+ tx this Thanksgiving, and boy, this is a value for money deal.
I was plainly impressed, no setup needed, it worked as I powered it up. Small, easy to stow away and use.
I like the no clutter feel of the screen, only 2 controls on the side, one for power and one for volume. The menus are no nonsense, easy to use.
I have used complex GPS systems in the past, these take up time and you do not use most of the features anyway. The c330 has the POI(Points of Interest) feature that I like, it will come in handy on the road. It gets me in and out, gives me directions and hey, I am good.
I only wish instead of just saying turn right ahead, it talked the street name. To be sure, you will need to check the street name on the unit and on the road. This is the only problem I saw but that is okay I guess.
I use the suction cup, did not have the courage to put up the dashmount disk for dash mounting the device. You dno't want some one to break your expensive windows to steal the unit!
