No Heartbreak Here

Aha Shake Heartbreak, the second album by the Kings of Leon, is absolutely incredible - there is no reason why anyone should be without it. I'd been stuck on Youth and Young Manhood since its release, so naturally, I was ecstatic when I heard "The Bucket," the new album's first single, on my local rock station along with news of the new album. I eagerly awaited its release date (Feb. 22), and I can honestly say it was well worth the wait. Aha Shake Heartbreak takes on a new direction - it reflects the growth of the Kings as individuals and a band. According to interviews with the band, the lyrics on the new record are more autobiographical than on the first; this really gives the listener a chance to connect with the band and understand their experiences on a deeper level. The music is incredible too. Some of my favorite tracks are "King of the Rodeo," "Pistol of Fire," and "Soft." Like I said before, the new album is amazing. Get it TODAY!!
