Perfect Rice Cooker for small family

I had this machine for the past 2 years. Cooks perfect rice. No messy spill out because the lid has got a small hole for relieving steam. Compact and does not occupy big space. In addition, power consumption is low. Only 300 watts. Cooks rice in a jiffy. Less than 20 mins.

To cook rice, all you ever need to do is to wash rice, place it in the rice pot, add water to the level corresponding to the correct water level for the amount of rice added. The pot has water level indicator that correspond to the amount of rice you use, marked clearly on inner side of the pot. Then you push a small button which light up during cooking. This button will jump back to its original position once the rice is cooked. There you go. Simple and easy.

I have cooked from 1/2 cup of rice to 3 cups of rice perfectly on this machine. 1/2 a cup of rice is just right for one person consumption. The rice turns out nice and fluffy to perfection. I simply adore this little companion. I think Zojirushi is great brand to have.

Other good points about this cooker is that the non-stick surface makes cleaning easy and hassle free. The lid which is made of glass is a good design as you could judge visually when the rice is almost ready.
