The objective of this game is very easy; either you hit the ball and run the bases or you hit the ball out of the park.
GRAPHICS: The graphics are outstanding, not only are the players realistic looking but the fields are too. This game will absolutely blow your mind if your looking for good graphics. There is no other baseball game that I could even compare this with; all I can say is Tripple Play has nothing on this. The players look so good that you can actually tell who they are by looking at there faces (most times). Even if you can't tell who they are by their face, you will get a little introduction before each batters takes the plate. You can also tell by their jersey's. Now, on to the stadiums. The stadiums are just as cool as the players, if not better. The cool thing is if you are playing a season you get a surprise every time you play at a new stadium (considering most time you play either 3 to 6 games at home and then away). The only bad part about the graphics in this game are the crowd, not a pretty sight. 10/10
SOUND: What can you say about sound really? Most sports games have decent sound considering they really aren't that complex. The good thing is that the commentator isn't to annoying, he calls the plays the way he see's them. Sometimes the commentator sounds a little to computerised, but if your having fun who cares. The best part about the sound is when hear the crack of the bat when you hit a homerun. 10/10
CONTROLS: This is the part of this game where things get a bit sticky. It's not because of the batting controls, it's because of the stinkin outfielders, they only move when they see the ball (not good)! The only reason I can think they made it like this, is so I don't kill the opponents even worse than I do. It makes it a little more challenging. Now on to the pitch and swing controls: The pitching controls are really easy to use, choose the type of pitch you wish to throw and let loose. It get's harder as you try to strike a player out, but it takes time. The batting controls also take time, but that's good, you actually have to learn how to hit the ball intsead of just swinging away. 8/10
FUN FACTOR: This game gets better and better, with experience. It is more or less a one player game, but it's fun nonetheless. 10/10
Overall I would recommend this game to anyone who knows baseball, likes baseball, or especially if your a hardcore baseball fan. If you are any of the above I would recommend you buy this game. I'll tell you now it may be hard at first but seriously it does get easier.
