21 CU whirlpool

We bought our fridge when we moved into our new home. It fits into the space very well. I wanted something larger but with my space requirement I was forced to choose this size. For the amount of outside deminsions I was surprised with all the space it had on the side. The freezer compartment is very nicely laid out. You can get a large frozen pizza and it fits in very easily. No need to move stuff all around to get it in. The door shelves in the freezer compartment are very strong. I can put 10lbs of hamburger on the door and the shelves do not bow. The only thing I had any problem with was the ice maker. We have had to replace it once now. We have to replace the water pump that is in the back on the unit and we had to replace the entire interior unit. This model does not offer an inline filter, I would recommend getting an external inline water filter. That probably was the problem causer. The interior of the fridge is very roomy. All the selves are either clear plastic or glass. Very easy cleaning. The top shelve is very easily removed and it can be moved up or down. All of the drawers, ( the meat/ cheese, and crispers ) can be removed with one hand and fit perfectly in a sink to be rinsed off. Since they are all clear you can see what is in the drawers with out actually having to open them either. The shelves on the door of the fridge are very sturdy also. I do not like the lay out of the door shelves and you can not adjust them, But they are super easy to clean out and all the condiments fit in just fine. The unit is also and energy star appliance and you can get a take credit for installing them. It is a very quiet unit. My electric bill has went down since we put this unit in. ( jsut a few dollars though)
