Praises for this washer!!!
Pros:
14 programs, internal heater, quiet, savings in water & utility costs & detergent use.
Cons:
Cost.
That is all I can think of.
The Bottom Line:
14 laundry programs, quiet operation, internal water heater, attractive, ease of use, solid build (weighs about 250lbs), savings on utility and water bills, and detergent use. Buy it!!

I just had my Whirlpool WFW9400S (white color) delivered today, Sept 27, 2007. Great washer!! No issues or problems. Easy to level and minimal vibration. Rock steady. Very nice to have 14 different washing programs. Today after getting it nicely leveled, I washed 7 loads of laundry. Great cleaning on all loads. Minimal amount of HE detergent was used. No suds problem at all. Clothes smelled fresh out of the machine. Using my 15 year old gas dryer, drying time was no more than 25 minutes per load. I can really see that I will have savings in my water, electric, and gas bills. I bought it from a local appliance dealer that has been in business 50 years. I bought an extended warranty through this appliance store. Cost was $120 for 5 years. If there is a problem with the washer, I call the appliance store and not Whirlpool. The appliance store will handle my service requirements if needed. You'd be foolish not to invest in an extended warranty. It will pay for itself after the first repair or troubleshooting visit by the repairman. Hopefully, I will not have to worry about requiring service for a while.
The only con I can think of is that it is somewhat expensive purchasing this top of the line front load washer, but well worth it in my opinion.
I'll post a follow-up in a month or so regarding this washer.
