Too Little for Two

The Bottom Line: To call this a large capacity washer/dryer is false advertising.
I guess I shouldn't complain -- we're renting and I suppose we're lucky to not have to go to the laundromat. However, our last apartment had a huge washer/dryer combo so when we transferred to a new city it was something we wanted in our new apartment.
The problem with this model is that it's half the size of our last washer/dryer and you can barely put a pair of jeans, shirt and sweatshirt in it without overstuffing it. We're a family of two adults and although we're doing laundry all the time, we can barely keep up with it because we can only wash a couple things at a time.
Lucky for me, most of my work clothes are dry clean only, but my husband prefers the casual Eddie Bauer look so we're washing his work clothes all the time. It's also pretty noisy even though it's in its own closet and when it's running we close the door.
I'm crossing my fingers that it'll break down and the manager will have to buy us a newer, larger model. We're just lucky that we don't have to pay for water here -- the way we wash clothes, our water bill could be more than our rent!
