Weber Smokey Mountain Bullet - the smoker to buy

Date of Review:  Jul 1, 2005
The Bottom Line: Smoking food takes a lot of time, but it's fun, and the food is great. If you're going to smoke, buy a Weber Bullet.
Review: If you're checking out smoker reviews, then you're likely thinking about buying your first smoker or replacing a low end model. You're at the right spot here at Epinions and considering the right smoker if you have your eye on the Weber Smokey...

Date of Review:  Nov 7, 2001
The Bottom Line: I recommend this product to all smokers and people wanting to learn about the great flavor that only smoking can provide.
Review: Smokey Mountain Cooker Smoker

I am fortunate enough to live in an area of the country where we can BBQ probably 10 months out of the year. Heck, it's November and I sit and write this in shorts and a tank top and will most likely be using...

Can't be without my WSM

Date of Review:  Dec 7, 2002
The Bottom Line: Most fool proof, easy to use smoker available
Review: I purchased my WSM about 8 months ago, and I literally have only missed only about 5 weekends worth of smoking since I bought it. I have smoked so much meat, my WSM hardly has a chance to cool off before I'm lighting it up again.

The WSM...

I think I got the reject

Date of Review:  Jul 6, 2004
The Bottom Line: I think I got a dud, Weber is usually much better than this. While it works the attached pieces (door and vents) are flimsy & leaky.
Review: Reading the rave reviews here I must say that I think I got a reject. I actually had to double check my grill to make sure that it's a Weber and not just a look alike. Well, it is a Weber and without actually being able to verify that a few things...

WSM Cooker - The Cadillac of Chimney Style Water Smokers?

Date of Review:  Jul 8, 2007
The Bottom Line: Go with the WSM for a lifetime smoker investment, but understand the smoking process and adapt to the WSM's few, but notable, shortcomings.
Review: I got turned on to back yard stovepipe water smokers over 25 years ago while living in the Southwest. Working and playing with a group of accomplished cooks and outdoor enthusiasts, I was introduced to the delicious joys of smoked meat at home. For...

Cook some butt with the Weber Bullet

Date of Review:  Sep 28, 2000
Review: In the world of backyard patios, there are many types of cooking mechanisms. From the basic kettle to the built-in natural gas grill with side-burners and infra-red rotisseries. These are the tools of the 'griller'. The grill is pre-heated, the food...

poor quality repeated problem

Date of Review:  Jun 25, 2007
The Bottom Line: poor build quality does not justify the high price compared with other makes
Review: The smoker arrived with the central section (the chimney) being defective. The porcelain flakes off at the corner of the rectangular opening for the door. The door does not fit the opening at all and there is a large gap when it is closed. Weber...

It's true -- smoking is addictive, and I'm hooked.

Date of Review:  Aug 2, 2005
The Bottom Line: Smoking meat really brings out the flavor, and the WSM is the best smoker out there. It's well made, pretty easy to use, and it's a Weber!
Review: I got my Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker (WSM) about a month ago from Dickson Supply (http://www.dicksonsupply.com). This is the third Weber product that I own, and I am a customer for life. After I bought my first Weber, a Smokey Joe, I sent in my...
