Pros: High quality and easy to use.
Cons: A built in thermometer would be good. Water pan is a bit wimpy.
The Bottom Line: Smoking food takes a lot of time, but it's fun, and the food is great. If you're going to smoke, buy a Weber Bullet.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: If you re checking out smoker reviews, then you re likely thinking about buying your first smoker or replacing a low end model. You re at the right spot here at Epinions and considering the right smoker if you have your eye on the Weber Smokey...

Pros: Most foolproof smoker on the market. Holds temperature as steady as an oven!
Cons: Limited area for meat, shallow waterpan
The Bottom Line: Most fool proof, easy to use smoker available
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I purchased my WSM about 8 months ago, and I literally have only missed only about 5 weekends worth of smoking since I bought it. I have smoked so much meat, my WSM hardly has a chance to cool off before I'm lighting it up again.
The WSM... |

Pros: Sturdy steel body.
Cons: Feed door isn't tight to the smoker. Flimsy vents. Liquid pan is tippy.
The Bottom Line: I think I got a dud, Weber is usually much better than this. While it works the attached pieces (door and vents) are flimsy & leaky.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: Reading the rave reviews here I must say that I think I got a reject. I actually had to double check my grill to make sure that it's a Weber and not just a look alike. Well, it is a Weber and without actually being able to verify that a few things...

Pros: Large food capacity, heavy-duty Weber construction, highly efficient fire box design.
Cons: No built-in thermometer. Runs much hotter than other smokers unless air inlets are restricted.
The Bottom Line: Go with the WSM for a lifetime smoker investment, but understand the smoking process and adapt to the WSM's few, but notable, shortcomings.
This reviewer recommends this product.

Pros: name brand
Cons: poor quality
The Bottom Line: poor build quality does not justify the high price compared with other makes

Pros: Excellent overall construction, ability to hold heat for long periods, made by Weber.
Cons: Water pan difficult to use, no work surface, no built-in thermometer.
The Bottom Line: Smoking meat really brings out the flavor, and the WSM is the best smoker out there. It's well made, pretty easy to use, and it's a Weber!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I got my Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker (WSM) about a month ago from Dickson Supply (http://www.dicksonsupply.com). This is the third Weber product that I own, and I am a customer for life. After I bought my first Weber, a Smokey Joe, I sent in my...
