1993 Eurovan - My Worst Nightmare!

I bought my '93 Eurovan new and have had it for 9 years. The van is nice to drive, roomy and comfortable but the positive comments end there! The air-conditioning system cost me a bundle as it was always breaking down and I can't begin to tell you of the numerous electrical problems I experienced. This van did not sell well and therefore parts are hard to obtain. You are practically forced to always buy your parts from the dealer and catastrphic prices. There is a cover (held on by 6 bolts) under the engine that is almost the size of a hood of a car. It must come off to change the oil filter. It turns a 15 minute oil change into an hour or better. The cover is heavy and difficult to put back on without an assistant. The bottom line: Unless your into costly nightmares, don't even think about buying this van!
