The Bottom Line: I recommend this unit very highly. The price/value ratio is very high. Picture quality is high. Purchased from Sam's Club you can get a reasonably priced extended warranty.
Review: I bought my unit from Sam's Club for $1688. Easy purchase at Sam's and help loading unit on trailer too.

Great picture...but problems have risen

Review: We bought the PD50 in Feb '06. No real complaints on quality and enjoy the HDMI input. I run all audio through the head unit, but have listened to the audio and provides your standard box set speaker quality.

Mine Broke in 1 Year

Review: Bought at Costco and it was great when it worked. Picture is very good but if made 2 loud POPS last week and the picture is gone, only sound. Lasted 1 year. I hope not all Plasma's are like this. Plan on buying Panasonic next.

50" Vizio offers Better Picture Quality than 60"

The Bottom Line: Great value without compromising picture quality or sound; Also, purchase from COSTCO, which accepts returns at any time (as long as you keep the box, packaging, manual, etc.)!!!
Review: I purchased the 50" Vizio two years ago, when it first came out, and have been very happy with the quality of the picture as well as the sound quality. Unlike many plasma TVs when you turn the volume up you do not get significant distortion in sound...

BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY
