Total waste of resources

The Bottom Line: I wouldn't recommend this unit, or anything else made by Vinotemp to my worst enemy. The vendor who sold it should hang right next to them.
This product is less than garbage. It is poorly designed with flimsy wooden shelves that don't fit properly. Fortunately sanding the edges made a difference but they still stick. The space between the shelves is minimal making it impossible to get the slightly wider bottles in at all. Even fuller bottles make getting three across a problem. The unit will not maintain temperature once the ambient is above 70 F. Unfortunately I received this as a gift in late winter and didn't realize the temperature problem until the weather got warmer. The vendor who sold the unit has a 30 day return policy only with all the original packaging and including a 15% restock. Had it come from Home Depot who also sells them, I would have stood a chance. The doors sweats and leaves water dripping down the front in humid weather. I can't give this thing a good comment much beyond its appearance. The instructions that came with the unit were obviously translated from an Asian language because the sentence structure was laughable. And the instructions themselves were vague. Although it has a two temperature ability, it didn't state that the top unit was the "white" wine area and therefore capable of lower temperatures than the bottom unit. It was only after experimenting with the setting that I discovered that the top would go to 44 and the bottom only to 54 .
