Great Boot for Picky Little Girls

The Bottom Line: My daughter loves these boots. 5 Star for comfort and durability. So what if they are a little out of style and Ugggglgggggggly
My daughter is the fussiest kid ever when it comes to clothes and shoes. Shoe shopping with her is a nightmare, because everything bothers her feet. I heard that Uggs were comfortable, but I thought they were, well, kind of hideous looking, even when they were in the height of fashion. I figured since they currently are on the fashion "don't" list, they might be cheaper and worth a try.(They were worth a try, but definitely not cheaper). My daughter tried them on at Nordstrom and literally looked as if she had died and gone to Heaven.
This was last winter....we have since gone through 3 pairs of Uggs because that is all she wears. She loves them, the comfort, the ease of putting on and removing them. She wears them whenever she can. Because we live in Seattle, we have tons of rain. They do fairly well with the wet weather but require regular weather-proofing. My daughter plays hard, and they withstood that quite well. Now that it is summer, she still wears her Uggs whenever I let her. I've been "forcing" her to wear sandals, and boy was that a fight.
If you are buying for a kid, I would not recommend light colors, because they discolor quickly. Try Black, pr dark brown for sure.
