Twister: The Movie Of A Life Time

The Bottom Line: I strongly recommend that you only let children thirteen and older view this film. It could really frighten children at parts. Great film,some kids may not be quite ready.

All Effects and No Plot

The Bottom Line: Great mindless fun. Special effects alone are worth watching the movie for. Best seen on a big screen with surround sound.
Review: Jan De Bont's blockbuster film "Twister" is great fun. It's exciting, suspenseful, and has some amazing special effects. Yet, for all the effects done, it certainly comes up short in the areas of story and character development.

Blown up

Review: Okay, I'll admit up front, the visual effects in this movie are absolutely incredible. The sight of a roaring tornado on screen destroying everything in it's path are visually stunning to behold.

Crazy People

The Bottom Line: The good special effects don't make up for some of the corny stuff that happens in the movie.
Review: Now when I went to go see the movie "Twister," I thought it was going to be a movie about a tornado that chased around some people. It ends up that those crazy idiots are chasing the tornado.
