The Bottom Line: Troy, while probably not the best film on the Iliad, is a decent action film about the Trojan War with fine acting, especially by Peter O'Toole.
Review: Based on Homer's Iliad, Troy is a film about the war between the Greeks and the Trojans and not anything else. It excludes the gods from the action which seems impossible to include anyway. It sometimes lacks true, moving drama to bring out the best...

Review: The movie was impeccable. I would scale next to "Braveheart". The fight scenes were enough to make it believable but not too much to make it cheesy.The story behind the movie is just great. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD.
