The Bottom Line: The Corolla beat the Nissan Sentra though lost against the Honda Civic, VW Jetta, Mazda Protege and Hyundai Elantra in my compare. It isn't a great vehicle.

2003 Toyota Corolla--MAJOR Problems

The Bottom Line: I would not recommend anyone to get a Corolla if you have kids, or if you don't have extra cash to get problems fixed when the car becomes problematic.
Review: Brought car in May 2004 with about 24,000 miles--certified. I have a 4 door LE Sedan, purchased the 100,000 mi warranty to make sure if anything happens the Toyota dealership would cover it--Not so!

Absolutely LOVE the corolla

The Bottom Line: Excellent car! 40 MPG under harsh driving-take offs and stops. Roomy enough for a 300 lb man(dad) to feel comfortable driving.
