Love this car!
Pros:
Price $15,400 fully loaded, fuel economy, Toyota quality. 8 air bags.
Cons:
Funny center dash, but it is easier to use.
The Bottom Line:
Buy this car-still made in Japan, and if it is anything like our other Toyotas it will run 250K with minimal problems.

Author's Review
I needed to replace my wifes Toyota truck, and as she had been using it as a commuter (20MPG or less) we deceided that a car would be a better choice with fuel prices the way they are.
We wanted to stay with Toyota, as we have owned 4 and they have all been great cars, but did not like the Corolla, and the looks of the Camry caught our eye, but with the options we wanted it drove the price well over 20K.
We saw the Yaris (neither of us had seen one, or even heard of them) and immediately liked it-it almost looked like a mini Camry.
We test drove it, and deceided that this is the car we wanted. The dealer had to search for the color and options we wanted, as there were very few of these cars on the dealership lots, but they found one and in a couple of days it was in our driveway.
We have owned it now for almost 2000 miles, and the more we drive it the more we like it. Just commuting with it has been amazing with at least 40 MPG per tank or better.
We are planning a trip this fall with it, and I will not be surprised if we get 45MPG or better with it.
With that kind of fuel mileage you would expect it to be gutless, but it will hold its own on most any road, it will even hold fifth gear on the freeway going over mountain passes-something her truck would not do.
Everybody who sees the car comments on its looks, and everybody wants to drive it.
