Beats the 2010 Town and Country hands down
Date of Review: Sep 4, 2009
My beloved 2000 Town and Country was still chugging at 170k, but it was time. We drove the 2010 T&C and found it underpowered and clad with an interior plastic that resembled the thin stuff used in Porta-Potties. The much-heralded 2nd row Stow & Go seats were thin and uncomfortable even for my 10 year old. Not a huge fan of the boxy look either. So we rethought this purchase and found a 2008 Sienna CE (with cruise control/roof rack pkg). A lot of get up and go, comfortable thick seats, an auxiliary mp3 jack, Toyota reliability (we hope). On second glance, might have been better to scrape up a couple thousand more for the LE, since the seat cloth on the CE threatens to pill, we'd like a thermometer and the door handle plastic feels cheap. But everything else, as far as I can tell, is the same, and that means the CE is just fine with us.
