Not practical

Date of Review: Jul 28, 2007

We got ours to keep kitties out. Trust me, it is so much easier to just shut the door and use a monitor.

We didn't realize how cheap it was until we tried to get it on the crib. Ugh! For $70 it should be real tent material. It is made of very cheap material and I have heard so many parents tell me how theirs came apart or how they had to "rig" it to keep their child in. The AAP and crib manufactures all say that if your child can get out of their crib or is 36" tall they need to be moved to a toddler bed.

They only SAFE way to install it is with the mattress at its lowest setting. The Crib Tent fastens to the crib in a manner which makes it impossible to raise or lower the side without undoing it. Velcro opening and closing usually wakes a baby. So it is nearly impossible to lower a sleeping baby that far down in a crib without lowering the side and waking them with the velcro.

Plus, just like others have said, it will not fit any crib except a standard one.

Hummm? Making your beautiful crib look like a torture device for the baby! LOL
Cons
Well, everything about it! It is a con!
