Review recipes thoroughly prior to purchase

I love to eat out at restaurants, and I have a favorite meal at each that I always order. I'll crave these favorite foods and wish that I could save some time and money by just making it at home. I was hoping this recipe book could help.

Unfortunately half of the restaurants mentioned in the book are not in my area. So if you are buying this book off the shelf I would recommend taking the time to look through the table of contents and index thoroughly to determine if you are familiar with the majority of restaurants listed. This task will be more difficult online, but some book selling websites are good about having screen shots of the table of content, so I recommend you take the time to find a good online resource.

Seeing as these are clone recipes, the resulting meal is not exactly what you would get in the restaurant. But it is a very good likeness, and sufficient enough to satisfy a craving.

With all the many recipes in this book, find that I only use one regularly - the clone recipe for Outback Steakhouse's creamy onion soup. Even though it's not as good as the real thing, it is still a delicious soup that my dinner guests always rave about and eat to the last drop. I don't know if the cost of this book was worthwhile for the one recipe I use though. I probably could have found this one recipe by doing a thorough internet search. There are a ton of copycat/clone recipes available online.
