I gave this game a rating of nearly 100% for a number of reasons. For one, this is a quality game. The graphics are top notch (near the best of any dreamcast game to date), the replay value is very high, and the gameplay is excellent. My suggestion: buy this game now! It's well worth the money.
The object of this game is to rack up as many points as you can before the time limit runs out. As you earn more points more parks, skaters, and decks become available. This little feature right here adds to the replay value substantially.
As for the graphics, they are superb. The graphics are far better than the PlayStation and N64 versions of the game but the characters are a little blocky, but still move like real, live people would. The backgrounds in this game really showcase what the dreamcast is capable of graphically wise. In my opinion, this is the best game graphically wise to date on the dreamcast.
Another important thing in a video game is the sound. The sound in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is excellent. There is a full soundtrack playing as you skate that features the Dead Kennedy's, Primus, and much more. Note: I have never heard of these groups but the sound fits what would be expected of a skateboarding game. I even really enjoyed the music even though its not my type.

My suggestion: Sell all other versions and buy this one
