The Bottom Line: The various functionalities that this product offers is a plus for any GPS and I would definitely recommend it.
I bought this GPS because you could add music or extra maps to an SD card and playt it wirelessly through your car speaker. I was very dissapointed with the static i got. It's possible that it could work differently in another vehicle. Another feature I liked about TT is the RDS radio trnasmitter although i had to purchase the antenna separately, the traffic service is free and provided by local traffic emergency authorities which I have found so far to be accurate and the major feature why i purchased. although not advertised as a voice command unit you can navigate using this feature as text-to-speech. There are many menu and sub-menu features in this unit which makes it at times very confusing to find what you want to do and I'm still trying to figure out all that is offered. I have yet to get 5 continuous hours from the battery even three, and while in last vegas it would barely last 40 minutes. It seems like to me the hotter the temperature the shorter the battery life. On a recent trip to Tampa Fl the GPS was slow to give signal between turns and would cut into small segments on the same street path many compartmental instructions while travelling on the same street direction. Another thing i am dissapointed with are the lack point of interest offred. For example, for gas station you'll have no problem finding EXXON or Chevron compared to Citgo, Wilco or Hess and this pattern follows in many other areas.I love the security password protection offered
