"To Say Nothing of the Dog" is a rough sequel to the 1993 Hugo Award Winning "Doomsday Book". While the plots are completely dissimilar (England in the Victorian Era, England in the Dark Ages), the common thread of time travel remains.

Hilarious examples of dry English humor pepper the text. The main character suffers from exhaustion and frequently misunderstands what is said to him and around him, furthering my uncontrollable giggles.

Ms. Willis is a master of dialog. She conveys the confusion and dogged persistence of people in a hurry like no one else. I found the characters to be fully developed and the plot to be delightfully twisty.
