Wanna see a good movie? Tim Burton's done it again!

Tim Burton never fails to let me down whenever I get to see his movies. Tim Burton always does such a wonderful job with his movies, and he puts so much into making the movie. I have to admit though, when the movie was over, I found it to be a bit different than I had expected or hoped, especially the ending. Not in a bad way. I guess anyone who waits on a movie to come out for so long and builds up the anticipation will always be somewhat let down. Don't let me discourage you at all from seeing this movie, it was still great! It has the same look as the Nightmare Before Christmas, and if you liked that movie you will also like this one! It is dark and dreary. It has odd looking people and monsters which could only be the works of Tim Burton. I've always said, you can always tell a Tim Burton film by the way it looks and the dark side that they always shows, even like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The acting was great as well. Johnny Depp did an excellent job! The animation was even better than the Nightmare Before Christmas. The way they did it was completely different in this movie. Like the others, it is also a type of musical. There are quite a few scenes that have the actors singing. I am not a fan of that, but it doesn't hurt this movie at all.

The movie starts out with two sets of parents who are forcing their children to wed. Of course, the bride and groom to be aren't very pleased with this idea since they haven't even met! The groom to be turns out to be a total klutz, but they do seem to really like each other a lot once they meet! He takes a walk into the woods practicing his vows and accidentally proposes to the Corpse who is deep inside the ground. From here, the movie gets funny, sad, and everything in between. It is definitely something for everyone. Like in Shrek though, there are some parts which wouldn't be considered for children, but they probably wouldn't get the jokes anyway. Tim Burton was definitely successful in making this an enjoyable movie for all ages!

The movie had a pleasant ending, but was not the ending that I had hoped for. I guess that means the movie can be somewhat unpredictable! (which is a good thing!) So if you haven't seen the movie, do so. It's definitely worth the money. If you are into the Tim Burton style of films, buy it! It will make a great addition to the collection!
