The "Queen of Cat Behavior"

Pam Johnson-Bennett, author of Twisted Whiskers, has done it again....she has written a great tome about cats.

Her newest book, "Think Like A Cat" is the most comprehensive treatment of cat behavior I have had the pleasure to read.

From basic training of new kittens, to the final good-byes to a beloved aged pet, this book covers it all in easy to understand and insightful language.

It is obvious to the reader that Ms. Johnson-Bennett has drawn on real life and personal experiences in describing the behavior of felines and the techniques she recommends to raise a healthy and loving well adjusted pet.

As a pet owner and lover of many cats over the years, I have read many books on the subject, but this particular book is definitely the "pick of the litter". It is well organized and covers every conceivable subject a cat owner needs. Most importantly, it is written in layman's language with much insight and humor.

I highly recommend this book to anyone contemplating getting a cat, to those who already have one or more cats and particularly to those who say they hate cats and do not understand them. It will change the way you think about our feline friends and truly make you "think like a cat!"
