Always a Classic

The Office is one of my favorite shows, and this season captures exactly why.
Rewatching the DVDs brings back all the good memories from the beginning of the show. The plot is not as heavy as the later seasons and the characters still have their original attributes. The pilot is my favorite episode, but they all flow well together. My family received this as a gift and we enjoy watching it together. People can relate well to the petty office drama that occurs in the first season and it keeps it light and positive.
The characters in this season may come across as very one-dimensional but they build up to the later seasons. By creating many elements in these first episodes, the creators paved the way for more jokes in the next three seasons. The characters take time to get to their peak, but it's not until the later seasons.
Because this season has been out so long, it can be purchased for less than the other seasons, but it is only one disc. I wish there were more episodes and as many features as the later seasons. However, I still find this season as hilarious as the others and enjoy it just as much.
