Liberal but not too liberal

My American Government teacher put this magazine as part of his class this year. I thought, "Oh great, just another liberal teacher imposing liberal thoughts on us." As a conservative, I was wondering if there was any hope for the future of our great nation. But through reading this magazine, I found it manageable even for a president of a future republicans club like me. So even though, The New Republic generally puts a serious liberal spin on the issues, there is generally some good facts to be used on both sides of the aisle. For example (e.g.) In the past month an article was written about third trimester abortions, and the way the painstakingly operation takes place. That for anyone with an once of heart would see that there should be a ban against third trimester abortions. Though there is a good 50% of the articles which I consider biased, this magazine is manageable even for conservatives.
I recommend this magazine to liberals ,and anyone who wants to see the other side of the aisle without too much spin.
