My 8 year old daughter LOVED this movie.

My husband and I took our 8 year old daughter to see this movie and she loved it. She can't wait for the DVD.

I don't intend to get into the plot/character description since I think that's been covered in the other reviews. This is my opinion!

I must point out that as a very particular mom and an educator, I find it difficult to find clean, wholesome movies. This movie, however, ranks high on my list for must see movies for kids. Lizzie McGuire is a great role model for girls, and I would be concerned if my daughter didn't like this movie. Lizzie is the typical awkward teenager experiencing all the things that girls experience at that age - realizing inadequacies, crushes, bullies.....we've all been there. Also she's a great alternative to Brittney Spears (who is not allowed in our house). The soundtrack is upbeat and the lyrics have either a fun or positive message. The movie is fun and ends up with Lizzie singing on stage. What little girl wouldn't love that? My daughter was dancing in her seat.

For those who are skeptical because of the PG rating - don't be. It is clean, clean, clean. Ok, there is one tiny kiss in the end but it's tiny.
