Author's Review
My two week old daughter is a "Bink Addict." She loves a good pacifier, and a "binky" almost always calms her down. She was whisked off to the NICU minutes after she was born, and when I finally got to see her, I noticed that the nurses had already given her a pacifier. It was a regular style one, and I was surprised since I had heard that a lot of hospitals give Soothie pacifiers to babies now.
The next day when I went in, my baby had a Soothie in her mouth, and boy, does she love that thing! She'll take a regular pacifier, but Soothies are her favorite. They look a little weird compared to regular pacifiers, but she still looks very cute with the Soothie in. She especially likes the little handle on the front- she is constantly holding her Soothie to keep it in her mouth.
A good thing about these pacifiers is that they have the same nipples as the Soothie bottles. Since we had a Soothie bottle starter kit, those are the bottles I've liked using the best since we took her home. I think they are her favorite too. She always seems to eat more and inhale less air with them. Plus, the bottle set came with another pacifier, so I have more than one for her!
I did see the 2 packs of the pacifiers at Wal-Mart, but I haven't picked any up yet. They are good if you don't like the bluish-green that the original Soothies come in. They have other colors, like pink, in the 2 packs.
Overall, I highly recommend these pacifiers if your baby likes them. Your little "Bink Addict" might love them!
