Author's Review
We used this pacifier with kid #1 and kid #2 and were very happy with it. We received our first one from the hospital and we did try other brands, shapes, sizes, but this worked the best for both our kids.
It is a one piece construction, silicone, so there is no worry about piece #1 coming off of piece #2, so no choking worries. It is super easy to sterilize, just drop in boiling water for five or so minutes and you are done.
The only negative thing I can think of is that it is difficult to find clips that have small enough attachments to go in to the little holes of the pacifier in order to clip to baby's clothes. We did on a few occasions just use yarn to tie to baby's jumper. Works just fine.
This Soothie pacifier was just the right size for our babies' mouths, others we tried seemed to gag them. The somewhat translucent color is pretty neat because you can see the baby's tougue through the nipple and witness the soothing at work. It's like having a window to your kid's mouth!
The price is just right for this soothie too. It is now more available in stores. With kid #1, I had to order straight from the manufacturer, but I see them now in convenience and grocery stores.
