GREAT GAME TAKES U BACK TO THE TEATHERBALL DAYS
Date of Review: Apr 20, 2008
The Bottom Line: Sturdy and fun. A lot more fun than I initially thought it would be.
I recently purchased this item for my sons 8th Birthday. I was pretty skeptical, but he just had to have it so I splurged.. Initially I thought it was a bit overpriced, but after having it for a month now it was worth the $40 in which we paid.It is simple enough for a 4 year old to play and fun for all ages. All the kids in the neighborhood love playing it and so long as you fill the bottom with water or sand it does not flip. I thought for sure it would, but it does not. The rackets are really sturdy. All my kids are rough with their toys, but these rackets are holding up really well. It's also nice that when it's time to pout it away it all fits back into the base and is easy to keep everything together. Again, I have to say that for what it is made of it is pretty sturdy. The only drawback I found was the younger children had to be supervised and constantly reminded to stay far enough back so they did not get whacked in the face with the ball (not a toy malfunction, just kids not paying attention).
