A Nice Little Mixer

This is a nice little hand mixer for the casual baker. It’s got six speeds plus a power boost option. The power boost is a button below the speed switch, and it gives the mixer more power when held down. Two chrome mixers are included. It also has 200 watts of power and a very comfortable handle. The heel rest works nicely as well, so the mixer can sit stably on countertop. When doing so, the beaters are high enough to sit comfortably over the edge of most mixing bowls, so there’s no need to worry about it dripping on your counter.

There’s no special eject button; instead it’s fused with the speed switch. When the power is off, you press the switch inward to eject the beaters. You have to push a little hard, but it is to be expected. After all, you wouldn’t want the beaters to eject themselves when all you wanted to do was turn the power off!

Though something I found a bit strange was that the numbers alternated which side of the switch they were on. OFF was left, one was right, ect. Yet on picture on the box they’re all on the same side. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning. It’s a good looking mixer, not some tacky thing you’ll have to hide when the guests come over. Standing on its heel without the beaters in, it actually looks vaguely like a plastic thermos.
