Author's Review
When I first started playing this game I thought, "I will never finnish this game." And while I haven't actually done it; I am quite close. Although labeled as a driving game, Stuntman is much more complex than that. While there are several different types of cars to drive, there are also monster trucks, busses, vans, armoured cars, and snowmobiles. And the difficulty of the stunts range from crashing through a pile of boxes to compleating a 360 degree loop then doing a nitro jump over 30 or so buses.
The main premis behind the game is you are a rookie stuntman, working on a low budget film. As the film progresses you must compleate various stunts to finnish the film. You then start a new film, and compleate more stunts, and you compleate films, they become higher budget, and the stunts become more complex and difficult. Another interesting feature is after you finnish a film you get an opertunity to preform in a stuntshow...you know the kind that used to travel around the country stoping at country fairs and the like. Also when you finnish a film, you get to watch a movie trailer of the film you just finnished, compleate with your stunts in it.
While the game play is fantastic, the controls are a little off, they feel slightly heavy, and are not consistant when switching from differnt views. It can be irritaing to begin with, but you soon get used to it.
Some gamers might bore with this game, if they don't like a real challange, I stress that this is a difficult game to progress in. However if you like a challange then you find that you can't put this game down, and it will become your "drug" of choice for quite some time.
