Decent Camera

The Bottom Line: Ease of use, great family photos, all members of my family are able to pick camera up and use.
Having owned a Sony 3 mp prior, I was happy with the quality of pictures. But, I wanted a higher pixel camera. I think that this camera takes some really good pictures, even takes a good picture in motion. Although it took me some time to figure out most of the choices. (I only use a camera to take pic of family, events etc...) Seems that I end up with a lot of little icons on my LCD screen and I haven't figured out what they all mean. I like the auto focus feature! Which this camera does, I don't use the other options unless I am playing around with it.
I have had this camera for ten months. I bought two 256 MB memory stick pro duo, and that serves my purpose very well. Some of the situations that I have used it in are in the boat, on the back of a bike, ninety eight percent of those taken were of SUPER good quality. I even used the 3X optical zoom. The waves and water were very clear, sharp. ( to a non-photographers eye ) I have even made some videos. My 8 year old is very good with it. I recommend this camera for those who take pic like I do. If I can take a moving picture while standing on a boat and it come out crystal clear, and enlarged to a 8x10...... it is a very good camera.
