If Only No Network

The Bottom Line: I think that it's a good product minus that one serious problem of disrupting the network. If you don't have a network, go for it.
Review: As an add-on to the other 2.4 GHz offerings from Sony, this seems like a great deal. And it was: Radio Shack was offering a free handset with each base station and base stations were on sale.

The Bottom Line: Sony had good intentions with this phone but it just doesn't live up to expectations. Get something less complicated.

Review: Battery life rapidly declined over the year of ownership - far worse than any other cordless we have ever owned.

Handset is temperamental, sometimes not able to connect to base. Easy fix - just disconnect the battery and then reconnect...
