Very disappointed

I have had nothing but problems with this machine.
1) Does not record cable or satellite programs that are copy-protected. So some of your favorite programs you watch or want to record and watch later may not record at all.
2) If you do happen to record a show and transfer to a computer, do not, I repeat Do Not clear the DVD+RW in the computer because the formatting is not compatible with the Sony RDR-GX315. The Disk with be rendered unusable by the recorder as it will tell you that the disk is not readable nor recordable.
3) If the Sony RDR-GX315 should happen not be able to read a disk it may also not eject it from the machine. The machine does not have a manual ejection mechanism to allow you to remove the disk. The software will not eject the disk and you will have to resort to other extremes to open the disk tray.
