Excellent features

Our old clock radio had a tape player and we wanted to get one with a CD player instead. After reading a lot of e-pinions on different products, visiting Best Buy, and buying (and returning) one unsatisfactory product (unexpectedly had analog rather than digital tuner) we bought this Sony product (in black). I had originally steered away from this product because this website said it did not have battery back up. After more research, I realized that it does in fact have battery back up. I am very happy with it as it seems to have all the features one could desire and has good sound as well. The instruction manual is clear and we are using the two alarm feature which our old clock radio did not have. We definitely paid a bit more than we should have but we were anxious to get set up and move on with other things. I love the ability to adjust the illumination at night from high to medium to low. And, although I am just beginning to use an I-pod (my daughter's old one), I am looking forward to connecting the I-pod to this product to expand the range of music available.
